My preferred Manhattan recipe. This recipe is traditional, and unoriginal, save for my preference for bourbon in lieu of rye whiskey. While the boldness and strength of rye whiskey has it's place, I prefer the smoothness and typically sweeter taste of bourbon. In particular, recently1 I am fond of Buffalo Trace for my Manhattans.
